Training cum exposure visit of farmers under CAT underway

Mokokchung, August 19 (MExN): In a bid to provide exposure to progressive farmers and SHG leaders of Mokokchung district to new technologies in agri-allied sector, training cum exposure visit to KVK, ICAR-RC Medziphema has been organized by Care and Support Society, Mokokchung from August 19 to 21.

 The exposure visit is sponsored by NABARD, Regional Office, Dimapur under Capacity Building for Adoption of Technology (CAT). 

S Amarjit Mangang, DDM, NABARD Mokokchung shared that during the course of the programme the participants will be exposed to various technologies available with the KVK. After the programme the farmers will have better understanding on scientific cultivation of crops and rearing of livestock. He further shared that the main objective of the exposure programme is to build capacity for accelerating transfer of low cost technology in the fields so that the farmers can double their income.
