Dimapur, January 6 (MExN): Unity College Dimapur hosted its annual 4th Unity Voice Hunt on December 14. The competition after an audition tryout selected 10 of its best singers for the showdown. The event witnessed a showcase of talents from the participants - different breeds of genres from popular songs to opera, a late press release stated.
Grace and Meyisanen, were the event hosts.
Tongpang Walling, the Event Coordinator expressed that “The best part of the show was watching the contestants perform because they were all so great and we discovered new talents.”
Marshiba of BA 6th Semester doing a rendition of Calum Scott, Dancing on my own took home the winning trophy while Lovikali of 6th Semester with her Disney style fused with a Broadway kind singing was judged second.
Iuli and Imnamoang from Trance Effects (Winner of the NSACS Beat Contest 2018) headlined the event with a few of their own original songs.
Kimatsung Jamir (Winner Highway Star 2010 and participant of The Stage 2016) pulled the curtain down.
