The 11th edition of the Imsutemjen Memorial Table Tennis Tournament organized by the Longterok Senden which began on December 12 at Amphitheatre, Ungma village, Mokokchung concluded on 13 December with Chairman, Ungma Village Council, R Nungshilepden Jamir as the special guest for the closing ceremony.

Jamir in his speech congratulated the Longterok Senden for organizing the tournament for the eleventh year and said that the tournament is a proof of how the club is growing and helping the village in making its mark by sending representatives in the district level competitions.

He encouraged the young players by saying that if they play in the truest sense of the game they will reach greater heights.
He also encouraged the losing teams to not be discouraged but to continue with the same sportmanship.

Assistant General Secretary, Sports Society Soyim, Talitoshi Jamir also gave a brief exhortation where he said that the tournament was a blessing for the youngsters in the village. He added that Sports Society Soyim is ever ready to work together in unity with the club. He also talked about the difference between individual game and group game and encouraged the players to keep focused in the game and reach greater goals.

N Akok Longkumer, Organizing committee, pronounced the vote of thanks. 

Late Imsutemjen was a prominent personality from Ungma village who worked as a dobashi and also as a Gaon Bora during the British rule in India.  The Imsutemjen Memorial Table Tennis Tournament is organized in his memoriam since 2012.
