2nd edition of ‘One Day at a Time’ by Sangmaikumba Chang released

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 14 (MExN): The second edition of ‘One Day at a Time’ authored by Sangmaikumba Chang was released at Room 03, Dimapur on January 14.  

Noted author who released the book said that it is a “treasure of a book” about the spiritual journey of a young person “through the darkness of childhood trauma, depression, deception and emotional conflict and his pilgrimage toward the beacon of deliverance, self worth and life affirming existence.”

She said that the book would be useful for adolescents as well as adults, and could act as a means of healing childhood wounds.  26 year old Chang spoke about what made him write the book and his journey of being a victim of bullying, substance abuse and depression. He talked about how he managed to overcome his struggles. 

Chang pointed to meditation as a means of finding inner peace, along with experiences in the art of boxing. The latter in which Chang participated in other countries, eventually winning bronze in South Korea.  Sangmaikumba’s father, Rev Chingmak Chang prayed before the programme while Moko Koza also spoke during the launch event.
