All City COVID-19 Task Force extends gratitude

Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): The team All City COVID-19 Task Force for Nagaland on Friday expressed gratitude to the state government, its machinery as well as the civil society for helping the stranded citizens of Nagaland by providing financial assistance, arranging transportation to reach home and also for warmly welcoming them back home.

“We share our happiness and convey our heartfelt thanks to all the public leaders, churches leaders, community leaders, village/colony councils, Naga student’s union leaders, volunteers etc. and all right-thinking citizens of Nagaland who has arranged everything possible to welcome our stranded Nagaland citizens in other  states,” a statement  from the task force read.

Further, it thanked the frontline workers, doctors, nurses, police, drivers, volunteers, district administrations etc., “for working day and night risking their lives.”

“We take pride in being a Naga where unity and love has always been our foundations and priority. All your efforts have helped in smooth transitions of everything that was necessity during this pandemic for our stranded Nagas,” it added.
