N Delhu Khate releases yearbook of Baptist College, Kohima on July 4.

Kohima, July 6 (MExN): The Baptist College, Kohima launched its 10th edition of Yearbook with the theme ‘Going ahead, where forever begins’ at Rivenburgs Memorial Chapel Hall, Kohima on July 4.

It is a publication for the graduating batch since its inception in 2013.

N Delhu Khate, former Principal of Baptist College launched the book reminiscing on how the idea of a yearbook would largely benefit the students and the college in serving as a reference book.

The main purpose of initiating the publication of the yearbook is to serve as a memory book, to provide a means through which the students can stay connected with each other, as a reference book and to contribute to strengthening the alumni association of the college.

Dr Sentinaro, Assistant Professor, Department of English, convenor, literary committee, Baptist College highlighted the importance of such a publication as part of the college experience, a tradition that enriches a student’s stay in the institution capturing the action and reaction of the years through photographs, chronicling significant moments, events and competitions, providing a record of students, scores, notable accomplishments, historical changes and recreating the experience of attending one’s college life in words and pictures.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Kenivi Yhoshü, Assistant Professor, Department of English.
Kekuchol Pusa, Principal, Baptist College, expressed appreciation to the Literary Committee of the college for completing a decade in its publication of the yearbook and further encouraged the team for future endeavours.

The programme concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Seyiesilie Vüprü, Assistant Professor, department of Political Science.
