Can the Hornbill Festival be a platform to promote new local talents? Give Reasons

Some of those who voted YES:
•    It’s the platform that helps outsource local talents globally. Many have faded and now resurrected through hornbill broadcasting. Better outsourced than never.
•    Yes Hornbill festival should be a platform to promote new local talents. This can only happen if two things take place, 1: non government/political involvement. 2: non foreign shoes of any kind. The reasons given are the curse of the Nagas. As if there is a local talent and foreign one all the politician etc will run to the foreign ones as they don't see any point in seeing crap local talent. Their action betrays everything they say.
•    Yes, but retire the old ones, promote the new young talents, give equal opportunities to all.
•    In terms of foods and crafts , YES, if we don't allow outsiders to occupied the stalls
•    Yes. Should give exposure to new upcoming talents not just the ones that already got the exposure.

Some of those who voted NO:
•    Hornbill is nothing to do with talent
•    In terms of music and entertainment, a big NO unless they give equal opportunity to all the talented young people. And of course, according to me is Kohima and Dimapur centric rather than hunting talents from every part of the state.
•    Definitely no as far as the present concept is concern besides for now ...it is a wastage of moral, money and time.

Some of those who voted OTHERS:
•    Yes, it is. Considering how many local youtubers from our very own region are going around and showcasing their talent on displaying themselves on the virtual space and advertising the Hornbill Festival to the world who could unfortunately not make it to the festival this time. Their collaborations are also another aspect that needs applause as people will get to see the same thing but with differing perspectives which we are in dire need of at this moment in our lives.
•    My opinion newness bring by Hornbill festival is No More Corona In Nagaland Over.
