Contractors assure to complete Sanis Zero Point to Lakhuti road by Sept

DIMAPUR, MAY 27 (MExN): The Lotha Middle Range Students' Union (LMRSU) today informed that MS Northeast Enterprises has responded to the ultimatum served by the former on May 24 pertaining to the upgradation of an all weather road from Sanis Zero Point to Lakhuti village under PMGSY II (2019-2022).

In the letter, the concerned contractors reportedly “appreciated the LMRSU office for having concern for the people particularly of Sanis to Lakhuti village and mentioned that it is also their concern.”

In the letter, the contractors stated that the work was delayed due to some “internal hiccup particularly with a proposal for change in the technology and the implementation of the soil stabilization which could not take off in time.”

However, it said that the matter has been sorted out and assured the union that the mobilization of the required machineries is under process and the work would commence by the first week of June and complete it within the given period, which is September 2022.

The LMRSU appreciated MS Northeast Enterprises and the concerned contractors for responding to the ultimatum and looked forward for timely completion of the work as specified in the DPR with no further complaints as promised. The LMRSU also assures to extend all support and cooperation to the contractors.
