Maligaon, May 17 (MExN): In view of Pre-Non-Interlocking and Non-Interlocking works at Barpeta Road, Sorupeta and Pathsala stations for commissioning of double line in Barpeta Road-Pathsala section under Rangiya Division of Northeast Frontier Railway, few trains passing through that section will remain cancelled, diverted, rescheduled and regulated.

DEMU special train between Guwahati & Barpathar
Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to operate a DEMU special train between Guwahati and Barpathar to meet the escalating demand of passengers. The train will operate daily for four trips each in both directions starting from May 18 top 21.
Accordingly, special train no. 07676 (Barpathar-Guwahati) will depart from Barpatharat 05:15 hours to reach Guwahati at 12:45 hours on the same day. In return direction, special train no. 07675 (Guwahati - Barpathar) will depart from Guwahatiat 13:00 hours to reach Barpathar at 21:20 hours on the same day. During its both ways journey the special train will have stoppage at every station enroute.
Postponement of Bharat Gaurav Train from New Jalpaiguri
The proposed operation of the Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train from New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station under Northeast Frontier Railway (by the IRCTC has been deferred. Previously, the train was scheduled to depart from New Jalpaiguri station on May 18. The operation of the said Bharat Gaurav Train has been postponed to June 24.
