COVID-19: 2 more recover; Nagaland active cases at 209

Nagaland officially registered two more recoveries from COVID-19 bringing down the number of active cases from 211 to 209, according to an official update.


 “2 more patients have been recovered from COVID-19.  Both patients are from Jalukie, Peren,” State’s Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu also informed on Twittter in an evening update. 

 

The state reported 16 new cases in the morning taking the total number of COVID-19 cases to 371. 


With  two new recoveries, however, the state now has 371 cases, out of which 162 designated as ‘recovered’ and the rest – 209 as active cases. The recovery rate as per the latest update was 43.66%.


The new cases included 15 patients from Kohima and 1 from Peren quarantine centres.


Out of 371 patients, 263 are males and 108 are females, the Nagaland COVID-19 Dashboard informed.
