COVID-19:  Nagaland registers 60 more recoveries

Nagaland reported 60 more recoveries from COVID-19 while another 8 more fresh cases were confirmed on Tuesday everning, according to a State health authority.  


“60 more COVID-19 Positive Patients have recovered. 59 from COVID-19 Care Centre, Peren & 1 from Kohima. However, they will be kept under strict surveillance,” State Health and Family Welfare Minister, S Pangnyu Phom informed in an update on Twitter at 5:53 PM.


However, another 8 new fresh cases were also reported from Tuensang during the same hour taking the State's total tally to 644. 

 

Earlier in the day, the Minister also informed that 11 fresh COVID-19 cases were reported from the state, taking the total new cases on July 7 to 19.


“11 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 10 from Mon & 1 from Kohima,” the Minster tweeted in the morning. 

 

However, with the 60 recoveries, the status as per the latest tweet stood at:  Positive Cases - 644; Active cases - 341; and Recovered cases-303.
