CTTS & CCISS beneficiaries demand resignation of ANIEF office bearers

DIMAPUR, MAY 16 (MExN): Beneficiaries and district representatives of the Central Transport Subsidy Scheme (CTSS) and Central Capital Investment Subsidy Scheme (CCISS) under the Department of Industry and Commerce have demanded the resignation of the All Nagaland Industrial Entrepreneurs Federation (ANIEF) office bearers or a prompt call for a general meeting without delay. 

This was stated in a joint statement from M/s Hukashe Furniture Unit, Zunheboto; M/s Aghatoli Steel Fabrication Unit, Zunheboto; M/s Hotoni Furniture Unit, Zunheboto; M/s K Rochill Trunk House Unit, Medziphema; M/s Kuotsu & Brothers Mechanised Furniture Unit, Medziphema; M/s Sachu Carpentry Unit, Medziphema; M/s Vikie Candle Unit, Medziphema; W Akum, Tuensang; Alse Sangtam, Kiphire; Vesusa Chakhesang, Phek; and James Lotha, Dimapur. 

The beneficiaries said that they have been “terminally waiting” for their backlog pending bills of CTSS and CCISS. “But this far, no such declaration, release or processing has been issued, they said. 

The statement further stated that the present ANIEF officials were appointed for a term of only 5 years. However, it stated that the present ANIEF office bearers “have been coursing the boardrooms for over 12 years.” It called for the resignation of the office bearers of for prompt calling of a general meeting.
