Dimapur, November 17 (MExN): In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 30 (1) (2) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, and to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan has notified the sealing of two houses in Dimapur.
The houses are located in Golaghat Road, DDSC Stadium, near Kuki Church Dimapur and Thahekhu Block-I, have been sealed for 48 hours with immediate effect till further order, the DC’s notification stated.
Any person violating these containment measures will be proceeded as per the provisions of Section 51 and 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, it added.
