Does Nagaland have the potential to compete in the international floriculture market?

Those who voted YES had this to say:
•    Nagaland has so much potential to compete in the international floriculture market. We have a naturally beautiful landscape where even the leaves can tell the beautiness and spreads aroma than any other flower. I love Nagaland.
•    YES, Nagaland has the potential to compete in the international floriculture market if they are provided with the proper support and assistance
•    We have a suitable climate and soil
•    Women are very hardworking and I believe this characteristic in them can make the state rich in floriculture produce.
•    Very simple, so far we had many things to be explore so when we explore all those thing we can be the best of all, but a lot depend on.......
•    Yes, provided that projects, programs, etc, should be disseminated at the grassroot level
•    Nagaland has untouched fertile soil in many regions
•    Every home in Nagaland is filled with beautiful flowers!

Those who voted NO had this to say:
•    I don’t think it is possible yet, more infrastructure setup is needed. Though there is huge resources.
•    Because Nagaland cannot produce flowers in large quantities nor it can afford to sell at cheaper rates
•    For international market, floriculture has a long way to go in Nagaland. Couple of years back it has good potential for ginger market, but what happened to ginger farmers? Hardly managed to meet up expenses. Govt policies are made keeping big contractors in mind not poor farmers.
•    Because it need to produce good quality and Nagaland does not have the require material
•    No availability of modern technology
•    There is great potential and yet I do not think it can compete with the international market, because not only do we lack professionalism in our work but it is unlikely that Nagas can compete with the international rates, because our local produce since it is not in mass production, the cost is just too high.

Those who voted MAY BE had this to say:
•    We have the natural resources, but do we have dedicated manpower and a sincere bureaucracy???
•    Due to lack of facilities
•    Doesn’t have much idea on this front.
