The test result of an elderly patient, who was admitted to Eden Medical Center (EMC) Dimapur on July 17, has returned positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, according to official sources.
Result for the second confirmatory test returned positive on July 19, the sources said.
According to sources, the hospital is awaiting directives from concerned authorities for further course of action.
As on July 18, the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit was sealed and its OPD services were suspended until further notice.
