Longleng, September 26 (MExN): The FOCUS-IFAD project under office of the Agriculture officer Longleng held training for Training of Trainers (TOT) on horticulture fruits, nuts/spices and animal husbandry.
The training along with field demonstration was scheduled from September 21 to 25 and was attended by trainees from Agri & Allied department who will be training the farmers in block and village levels.
The purpose of the training was to emphasized on providing technical guidance to the farmers on their needs based on various grounds viz Agronomy, SALT, Horticulture and Veterinary.
During the inaugural session, Kakuto Chophy (PIT) Longleng highlighted about the importance and encourage the trainees to give their best as to benefit the farmers. Dy CVO, Aoyimsen Jamir who was also the resource person for the training also attended the inaugural session and conveyed the closing not of the programme.
