The four village’s councils of Shamator village, Wapher village, Langkonger village and Lasokiur village have resolved not to co-operation towards the so- called Saramati region of NSCN (IM) but will remain and cooperate only with the Yimchungru Region of NSCN (IM), this was resolved today during the joint meeting of four village councils. On behalf of the four villages councils , J. Shuito VCC Shamator village, Tsunthong VCC Langkonger village, Lakiumong VCC Wapher village and Thsanshimong VCC Lasokiur village have alleged that, the so- called self styled leaders of Saramati Region of NSCN (IM) have threatening and imposing with explanation calls towards the villages which is beyond intolerable for the people of these areas and asked the higher authorities of the NSCN (IM) to withdraw immediately the so called self style leaders of Saramati Region NSCN (IM) from the locality in order to create a congenial peaceful atmosphere in the areas in the interest of the general public.
The four villages councils chairman’s have said that, if the higher authorities of NSCN (IM) fails to withdraw the self style leaders of so- called Saramati Region those who were operating in the areas immediately, then they will not be held responsible for any unwanted situation arise out of this issue. The four village’s councils chairman’s also said that, they have stand firm against the resolution and decision made by the Yimchungru Tribal Council, Public Forum Pungro Sub- Division and GB’s Union of Pungro for supporting towards the Yimchungru Region of NSCN (IM).
