Dimapur, January 27 (MExN): A prayer meeting for newly formed ministry called “Independent Baptist Mission” as mission agency was held at Nagaland Co-operative Bank Ltd. Dimapur, Conference Hall on January 25, 2011.
The dedication prayer for launching the ministry was offered by Rev. Yehoto Chishi, Evangelist and the dedication prayer for the workers was offered by Rev. Picto Yeptho, executive secretary SBAK Aizuto. Rev. Yehoto Chishi exhorted the gathering with word of God and invocation prayer was offered by Yetoho Achumi, pastor Atoizu Town Baptist Church, while benediction was pronounced by Shikato Rochill, pastor Phishumi Baptist Church.
A press note issued by Azatoli Chishi, secretary, IBM informed that the ministry will be led by Rev. Ghokuto L. Chishi, founder of the ministry, as ministry co-ordinator and Shanti Lotha as finance ministry co-ordinator and Azatoli Chishi as Children ministry co-ordinator. The ministry will also have Imti Imchen as honorary regional co-ordinator for Mokokchung district, Bithungo Lotha for Wokha district, Nisakolie for Kohima district, Tohuli Mughato for Kiphire district. The ministry will also have honorary state co-ordinators for all the North Eastern states as it will focus its mission on these states.
