DIMAPUR, MARCH 27 (MExN): Independent candidate Hayithung Bill Lotha on Thursday claimed there is intense pressure from various quarters for him to “withdraw his Lok Sabha Independent candidature.”
Highlighting this, the Independent candidate said despite the pressure, he has decided to strongly stand by “my political ideology, philosophy and principles as I believe in the beauty of India as the world’s largest democracy.”
Various political alliances want me on their side as "I am a man deeply rooted in Naga Nationalism and the greater interest of the Nagas as a whole," he further claimed.
Lotha also clarified on the rumours about his Lok Sabha race withdrawal and asserted that “there is absolutely no truth in it as I am not a money/material wealth monger.”
