MON, APRIL 27 (MExN): The Konyak Union Mon has reaffirmed to uphold the directives and decision of the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) on the Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT) issue.
At a meeting of the Konyak civil society organisations held on April 27at KU hall, Mon town, it vowed to uphold the resolution adopted on February 23, 2024 at Chenmoho meeting, to abstain from participating in any central or state elections.
In the event of any political or governmental repercussions on S Phangnon Konyak, MP Rajya Sabha, Konyak legislators due to their abstention from voting in the recently held Lok Sabha elections, the Konyak civil societies “pledged unwavering support to protect them at all costs” at the meeting.
