March on with positive attitude: Yitachu

Yisisotha (Phek) | February 23 : Parliamentary secretary, Tourism, law & Justice, Yitachu inaugurated Wazeho Tourist complex on February 20 at Yisisotha village under Phek District.
Speaking at the inaugural function, parliamentary secretary said that the State Government cares for the citizens but the blame is sprayed upon political issue, when it fails to take care of the necessities, be it education, health care, employment.
“We don’t have much education, we are not aware of the happening on the other end, but there is no time to complain”, said Yitachu adding that it is high time to put heads together and march on to face the challenge with positive attitude.
Yitachu alleged that cultural division and isolation has been the weakness from the beginning but the more ‘we” cling the more it hampers prosperity, development and bring disunity among ourselves, he said.
He poured his displeasure over the affairs of selfishness stating that to promote for common tribe is being ignored. “We need to develop oneness, love and unity, time is here to move forth, tourism has immense potential for the state”, Yitachu said.
Expressing his disappointment of government employees, drawing salary without attending work, he said: “we are Christians, but that is not Christian ethos”, adding that set of rules can work and should be law-abiding citizens.
He strongly urged upon the villagers to maintain the tourist complex as self-property, to work and live and to prepare to face the challenges, responsibilities and to be a strong law abiding citizens to achieve success in life.

He stated that the distance failed them to visit the project constantly; however, the initiative of parliamentary secretary has made the project successful. While acknowledging the villagers for their efforts during the construction of the complex, he also urged upon to maintain the complex, considering as individual’s property.
Earlier the chief guest unveiled the tourist complex monolith. The programme was chaired by K.T. Thomas, joint director Tourism.
ADC Meluri, EAC Phor, DIS Meluri, government officers, tourism department, church members were among the guest of the inauguration ceremony.
