Mon, July 20 (MExN): The Mon Vale College, Mon Hq celebrated its first foundation day at Konyak Union Hall, Mon Town on July 19.
Mon Vale College, Principal, Dr CH Manwang Konyak, briefing the gathering on how the college came into existence said that Mon district required higher educational institutes as many students face difficulties because the only Government College could not accommodate all.
The special guest, Principal, Wangkhao College, Mon, Dr I Wati Imchen in his speech said the foundation day was important, as it reflects on the beginning and how it changed paving the way for success over the years. He also congratulated the founders of the college for keeping the vision of higher education for the people of Mon and urged the governing board, managing board, teachers, staff, students, and all the stakeholders to take a pledge and work honestly for the growth and development of the institution.
Special number was presented by Mon School of Music and BA 3rd Semester students and word of gratitude by Chairman, Governing Board MVC, Nathan Konyak.
