DIMAPUR, JULY 9 (MExN): The Naga American Foundation Conference 2023 was held at Edison, New Jersey, USA on July 7 and 8. A total of 90 participants were at the event. It is held once every 2 years. This year’s theme, ‘Embracing Our Roots and Cultivating New Possibilities,’ explored questions of what it means to adapt to American culture while embracing their roots and growing as a community in the United States.
The NAF is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-political, cultural and educational organisation that promotes and recognises Naga culture and heritage in America. NAF organises social activities and facilitates educational and cultural opportunities for the Naga Americans living in the Unites States. They also give out two scholarships every year to two students, one for graduate and one for undergraduate.
