KOHIMA, JANUARY 14 (MExN): A briefing meeting through video conferencing was organised on January 14 by the Election Commission of India for General Observers and Police Observers to be deployed for the forthcoming General Elections to the Legislative Assemblies of five States—Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Officers from Nagaland cadre who are to be deployed as General Observers (IAS officers), and Police Observers (IPS officers) attended the video conference organised by the Election Commission at the Nagaland Chief Electoral Officer’s office through remote access.
The officers of Nagaland Cadre who attended the video conference included Wezope Kenye, IAS; Athel O Lotha, IAS; Mohammed Ali Shihab A, IAS; K LibanthungLotha, IAS; KS Anden Konyak, IAS; Kevisa Kense, IAS; Kenilo Apon, IAS; Anoop Khinchi, IAS; Jyoti Kalash, IAS; Sachin Jaiswal, IAS; Lhouchalie Viya, IAS; Sarita Yadav, IAS; Jasbir Singh, IPS; Rajashekara N, IPS; Sonia Singh, IPS; Roopa M, IPS; and Vikas Katheria, IPS.
V Shashank Shekhar, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland and N Moa Aier, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland also attended the meeting.
