NAGALAND: Over 300 aspiring young entrepreneurs attend interactive session

Medziphema, July 7 (MExN): An interactive session on entrepreneurship was organised by STINER-TFC, SASRD, NU in collaboration with EMPRETEC India Foundation at the Multi-purpose Hall, SASRD, Medziphema Campus on July 6. 

Under the initiative of Prof Akali Sema, PI, STINER-TFC and Dean, SASRD, NU a press note received here stated that the programme was conceptualised to establish the value and utility of entrepreneurial mindset among the young generation and provide suggestive evidence that growing entrepreneurial mindset have a positive impact in getting youths to see entrepreneurship and self-employment as a possible career. 

A total of 377 participants comprising of students from Modern Christian School, Rivenburg School, King David Higher Secondary School, Government Higher Secondary School, Livingstone Foundation International, Pilgrim School, also College and University students from Unity College, Dimapur Government College, Eastern Christian College, Tetso College, BSc, MSc & PhD scholars from SASRD NU and a good number of aspiring local entrepreneurs participated in the programme.

A team of 15 entrepreneurs from EMPRETEC India Foundation both from outside and within the state, inspired the participants through their struggles and success stories, while emphasizing on the importance of developing creative minds, determination and dedication towards ones’ goal and believe that failures are the pillars of success. 

Arnab Chakrabortty, National Director, EMPRETEC India Foundation, moderated the session where different ideas were exchanged, existing and expecting problems discussed and various experiences were shared by the eminent resource persons and also willing participants. The entire session was very interactive and ignited many young minds towards the entrepreneurial sector. 

The programme was chaired by Prof Akali Sema, PI, STINER-TFC and Dean, SASRD, NU, while welcome address was delivered by Prof Aleminla Ao, Pro Vice Chancellor, SASRD, NU.
