KOHIMA, OCTOBER 5 (MExN): The Western Angami Assembly Constituency of the NDPP has appointed Neivikolie Khatsu and Nikeselie Punyu as the President and the General Secretary of the unit owing to the resignation of the former incumbents, due to unavoidable circumstances. Meanwhile former President, Vitsalhou Kesiczie, and former General Secretary, Ravolhuto Whiso have been appointed to the posts of Advisors. Kazheli (Ali) Tungoe has been appointed as the President of Women wing of NDPP Western Angami AC against the vacancy created by the sudden demise of the former incumbent. A press release informed that an executive meeting was held on October 5 where the unit resolved to strengthen the party through intensive drive of party membership enrolment under the directive of the Central and Region Office. It further resolved to stand firm with the party's principles and policies through thick and thin and reaffirmed continued support to the leadership of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio and the NDPP Party President, Chingwang Konyak .
