Kohima | May 3 : The school’s management, teachers and students of North Town Higher Secondary School, Chumukedima have a great reason to rejoice with the good performance of the school in the HSLC and HSSLC examinations this year. In this regard, a felicitation programme took place today by awarding the successful students with prizes. Teachers who helped make the distinctions and the senior teachers responsible for administration were presented cash incentives for the good harvest.
This year the School made a major jump by producing a total of 18 students and 3 students in the category of 60 % marks and above (erstwhile First Division category) in HSLC and HSSLC respectively. It may be mentioned that the School made pass percentage of 93.84 % and 80.95 % in HSLC and HSSLC respectively, besides grabbing in a total of 12 distinctions in 5 subjects. It was a time of thanksgiving to God and wishing well on all of them who are moving on ahead in the academic ladder. Meanwhile, new admission for class 11 (Arts) in progress
