Kohima, October 24 (MExN): MLA Khriehu Liezietsu inaugurated a rostrum at Siekhazou ground, D Khel, Kohima village on October 23.
Speaking on the occasion, Liezietsu said that Siekhazou ground is a very useful and important ground as people from not only D Khel or Kohima village, but people from all over Kohima use the ground, mostly because of its easy accessibility and its proximity to Kohima town.
While expressing the need to further develop the ground, Liezietsu pointed out that Siekhazou ground is probably the busiest ground in Kohima with the ground occupied almost throughout the year.
D Khel Council chairman Pele Khezhie thanked Khriehu Liezietsu for his initiatives and contributions towards realizing the much needed Rostrum at Siekhazou ground.
Khezhie said that Siekhazou ground is a blessing for D Khel which has already produced some great sportspersons, with the most recent being NWA Champions Kezhalelie Keretsii, Menuosietuo Yiese, Kezhaseluo-o Pienyü who all started their sporting journey from Siekhazou ground.
