DIMAPUR, OCT 20 (mexn): Samziuram village which went to poll to elect a new team of Samziuram Village Council has informed that the following persons were elected in the presence of an election observer sent by SDO (C) Jalukie Town.
1. Ramheu Mpame (Chairman)
2. Aluibe Iheilung
(Secretary) and
3. Amang Pame
(Treasurer)
The new team was elected for the tenure 2005-2008.
Paulus, Head GB stated that the election was peacefully held with a good percentage of turn out and has thanked SDO (C) Jalukie for the arrangement of security personnel during the election. Head GB and his colleague through a press release has congratulated the new team of the Village Council and wished them to be the most sincere and hardworking team in bringing development and welfare activities to the Village.
