The Peren District Athletics Association in collaboration with Nagaland Athletics Association conducted Kids Athletics Day with the theme ‘World Mile Challenge’ at Local Ground, New Jalukie, Peren on May 7. During the event, running race competitions were held for under 14 boys and girls--separately, in three categories: 4-7 years (30M), 8-11 years (50M), and 12-14 years (100M). Altogether, 107 children from 14 schools, comprising 70 boys and 37 girls participated in the competitions. It may be mentioned that first, second, and third prizes were given to the winners in each category.
