Zunheboto, July 15 (MExN): The presence of two wild elephants in Kichilimi Village under Pughoboto sub division has been reported by the Village authority on July 15.
In its letter addressed to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pughoboto, the Kichilimi Village Council said that two wild elephants were found in the village jurisdiction near the cultivation area of the village.
Expressing apprehension, the KVC said that the presence of the elephants poses danger for both humans and the crops of the villagers and sought the intervention of the ADC and urged the authorities to look into the matter.
