UNBC Kohima celebrates silver jubilee

The Upper Nagabazar Baptist Church (UNBC) Kohima today celebrated its silver jubilee here at the church premises.
Speaking at the morning service, Rev Dr V Atsi Dolie, Executive Director, Angami Baptist Church Council informed that there are 110 Churches under ABCC, of which the UNBC is one. He challenged the people to continue to propagate the message of gospel and God’s mission for well-being. Rev Dolie also stressed on the need to use God’s creation responsively.

Dr Kevichalie Metha, President, Kohima Baptist Church Council extended best wishes to UNBC for attainment of 25 years of Christian ministry.

Ruokuowhelie Pienyü, pastor UNBC spoke at the evening service, who later thanked each individual for their invaluable services and contributions towards the grand celebration of the jubilee.

Duosielie Chadi, deacon UNBC briefed the report on formation of UNBC in 1996. Late Zevolhoulie served as the first pastor.  

Earlier, Neikuolie Kets, Asst. Pastor, UNBC and Diethozelie Huozha, Prayer Chairman, UNBC led the morning and evening service respectively. The celebration also witnessed special numbers from children, youth and parents.
