VIT-AP University 3rd convocation held

Amaravati, September 25 (MExN): VIT-AP University organised its third convocation ceremony in the university campus in Amaravati on September 23, during which a total of 1,611 students graduated. The graduating students included 16 gold medalists and 70 rank holders across bachelor, master, and PhD programmes in engineering and management.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Justice B Siva Sankara Rao, Chairman, Judicial Preview Committee, Government of AP said hard work and dedication are indisputably the cornerstones of student success, and Convocations serve as a day to mark the culmination of their accomplishments. 

The guest of honour, Ashish Sharma, Director, Microsoft said students who work hard and stay dedicated are more likely to persevere through challenges and setbacks. They develop resilience, the ability to bounce back from failures, which is a crucial life skill. 

G Viswanathan, Founder & Chancellor, VIT, in his presidential address said that the convocation symbolises the institution’s dedication to nurturing talent, fostering academic excellence, and moulding future leaders. It stands as a testament to the hard work, determination, and resilience displayed by the Class of 2023. 

The convocation ceremony was also attended by Sankar Viswanathan, Vice President of VIT group of Institutions, Dr SV Kota Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, Dr Jagadish C Mudiganti, Registrar, Dr N Madhusudan Rao –Dean Academics, Dr Khadeer Pasha, Deputy Director Students welfare.
