Yodh-Beth International Ministry opens in Dimapur

Envisioning the betterment of livelihood for the poor and needy sections of society in different parts of the country, Yodh-Beth International Ministry (YBIM) was officially inaugurated by MLA Moatoshi Longkumer at Duncan Basti, Dimapur on July 7. 

During the programme, the MLA stated that such outreach ministries are much needed in the society and have the potential to have a long-lasting impact on the people they serve. He noted that a church and its disciples are not made up by superficial programmes and buildings but through the power of the Gospel and God’s will. 

As such, he encouraged the fledgling ministry to focus on specific ministries which can make immense differences in the hearts and minds of the people. “Therefore stay on purpose, stay connected to your neighbourhood and right-size your leadership structure,” he said. 

Dr Yanthungrhomo Mozhui, Founder and CEO of YBIM highlighted that the new ministry works and operates in different parts of the country especially beyond the Northeast region. He further stated that members of YBIM has been imparting skill development training courses for young people so as to provide them a level of subsistence and livelihood. This is through their affiliation with the Study Centre of ACTS, Bangalore, he said. 

Dr Roland Lotha, Board Chairperson of YBIM mentioned that “YBIM is a holistic ministry, a ministry with a difference; a ministry which not only propagates the teachings of the Gospel, but also serving the poor and the downtrodden sections of the society and working for the up-liftment of their conditions.”
