Zhavame Students hold 51st general session

KOHIMA, DECEMBER 30 (MExN): The Zhavame Students Union held its 51st general session at Pame Tsudu with Secretary for Urban Development & Team Leader of Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, Norman Putsure as chief guest and Lecho Krocha, Retired Deputy Director of School Education as guest of honour.
Expressing his admiration for the village, the chief guest stated it is the most beautiful village he had visited in Nagaland. He was appreciative of the Zhavame Students who excelled in various fields and expressed that the students have the potential to go further in life. Further noting that the Chakhesang area is lacking IAS Officers, he challenged the students to also venture into this area.
Meanwhile, guest of honour, Lecho Krocha, Retired Deputy Director of School Education exhorted the students to give their best while stating that youth is the prime of one’s life where they are able to do anything. He urged them to have dedication and self respect in order to achieve their goals while also emphasizing on the need to discover their ambitions and setting out to achieve them.
Earlier, the chief guest also unfurled the Union Flag while Rakudo Nukhu chaired the programme. Cathechist of ZCC said the invocation while the Presidential address was delivered by Mosonyi Movi and Rekha Dukru gave the General Secretary report respectively. Meritorious Certificates were also awarded to the students.
Kunungoyi, Incharge of Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, Phek district also attended the programme.
