Dimapur, March 8 (MExN): The Chakhesang Students' Union Dimapur (CSUD) on Thursday strongly condemned the alleged “life attempt” on student leaders by an unidentified gunman in Dimapur.
According to reports, Vice President of the Naga Student’s Federation (NSF), Boveio Poukai Duo, former NSF Speaker Joshua Thong and another companion were travelling towards Dimapur town when an unknown gunman fired two shots.
“Such life attempt on innocent student leaders is condemnable by all,” the CSUD stated in a press release.
As such, the Union appealed the law enforcing agencies to take effective measures to trace the culprits at the earliest. “We hope that the culprit does not escape from his/her deserving punishment,” the CSUD maintained.
