St. Joseph’s College host 9th Convergence Fest 2018
Jakhama, September 17 (MExN): The Department of Business Administration, St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama hosted the 9th Convergence Fest 2018 on September 14 and 15 with the theme ‘Believe, Become, Accomplish.’
It was stated in a press release that the fest was graced by Lezo Putsure as the chief guest. Altogether seven colleges participated in the fest where one college from Dimapur and six colleges from Kohima took part in the fest. All the 11 departments from the host college participated as well.
The two day event was mainly organized by the final year students of the Department of BBA and financed through various sponsors from around the state, apart from donations by well wishers and alumni (2017 batch) as well. The fest included various events which gave platforms for the students to test their talents and refine their abilities.
Students competed altogether in 12 events. Mr. and Mrs Convergence 2018 were crowned to Viravoto and Kevilenuo Miachieo respectively.
The overall champion of the 9th Convergence Fest 2018 was won by Don Bosco College, Kohima. The champions were awarded with Trophy along with Citations. Special citation for the best disciplined College/Department was awarded to the Department of English St. Joseph’s College Jakhama.
Lhouvi Mezhur Shekoshe was the silver Sponsor for the Fest apart from that various individuals and organizations contributed for the fest as Bronze sponsors, the release also added.
