Casio India to launch ‘Casio Piano Clubs’ across Nagaland

To tie up existing music schools with Casio Piano School

 

Casio India has agreed to launch “Casio Piano Clubs” in all districts of Nagaland in phased manner.


This was agreed during a meeting between the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) Advisor, Theja Meru and Kulbhushan Seth, Vice-President, Casio India Co Pvt, in New Delhi on February 15, informed a press release received here. 


Casio has tied-up with TaFMA for initiative of taking quality music education to every corner of Nagaland, the release said, quoting Seth, who is also the VP of SAARC Countries.  


Through the initiative, music schools will get 'Master Music Trainers' visiting their institutes to conduct 'Master Classes', and also get Casio equipment’s at special discounted rates.


TaFMA will identify existing music schools in different districts and help in the tie-up for Casio Piano School, the release said. 


For the first phase, five districts that have been identified: Mokokchung School of Music, Mokokchung; Little Spring School, Zunheboto; Clearwater Creative Arts, Wokha; Mountain Music Academy, Dimapur; and Elite Music Ensemble, Phek.


Meanwhile, 'Casio The Pianist,' a piano competition will take place soon to identify existing Piano talents in Nagaland.
