Dimapur, July 25 (MExN): The two frontal organisations in Kuhuboto area have asked the concerned authorities to withhold the payment for construction of Computer Building at Government High School Kuhuboto Town due to "poor workmanship and sub-standard work".

The Kuhuboto Ghakhu Public Organisation (KGPO) and the Kuhuboto Ghakhu Students’ Union (KGSU) demanded the same in separate memorandums to the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur and the State Mission Director RMSA Kohima.

In their memos released to the media here, the two organisations informed that the Kuhuboto Area Frontal Organisations, comprising of 23 villages and one town, carried out a surprise visit to the construction site on July 4 and “found out the poor workmanship and sub-standard work”

The organisations were not at all satisfied with the ongoing works, it maintained.   In this connection, a complain letter was submitted by the two organisations to the State Mission Director RMSA Kohima through DEO Dimapur on July 4, but the director has not responded so far.

Consequently, in its latest complain memo, the KGPO requested the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur to “stop the construction work and withhold all payment in connection with the construction of Computer Building at Government High School Kuhuboto Town until proper technical estimate” is provided to the Administration and KGPO.
