Dimapur, March 26 (MExN): Graduation ceremony of 16th batch of skill development training by Don Bosco Techat AIDA in Don Bosco School campus was held on March 24. Total 85 trainees received the graduation badge from Fr. CT Varghese, Rector and administrator of Don Bosco campus, Dimapur in the presence of Fr. Joshua Principal of Don Bosco Higher secondary school, Dimapur, parents and Don Bosco Tech team.
Speaking on the occasion Fr. Varghese called upon the trainees to be professionals as they will have to work along with various types of people at their work place. He said “every individual trainee has changed remarkably in all aspects after joining the institute. Here one has to undergo rigorous training by following tight schedule; they are followed up by the trainers at all time.” He encouraged the trainees to explore opportunities instead of remaining idle.
Bro. Sunny Joseph, director of Don Bosco Tech, Dimapur region congratulated the trainees for successfully completing the skill development training at Don Bosco Tech. He reminded the trainees that “from today your status is changed from village citizens to global citizens, from trainees to employees and from being ordinary individuals to professionals.”
The batch began on January 20, 2016 with 91 trainees in three domains of Food and beverage service, beauty and wellness and beauty and hair dressing.
The trainees will soon join the industries at various places in the country. Earlier in the day during the parents’ meet the training faculty explained to the parents the job profile of the trainees at work place and shared the terms and conditions mentioned in the offer letters.
The highlights of the programme included welcome song by trainees, welcome speech by Rouba Jonah and special song by ZinliangPanmei. Velu proposed the vote of thanks on behalf of the trainees.
The next batch of training will start on April 11, 2016. The training is offered in three domains such as food and beverage service, beauty and wellness and beauty and hair dressing.
