Longleng, August 30 (MExN): An Interschool Flower Exhibition cum Cultural Day Programme was held on August 24, at Yakang Pang (Morung) in Yachem Village, Longleng, with students of Yachem and Noksosang Government Primary Schools under SDEO Longleng taking part. Village elders, church leaders, parents and well-wishers of both the villages attended the programme during which H. Alemkava chairman of Village Education Committee (VEC) Noksosang exhorted the gathering by emphasizing on the importance of nurturing flowers. He also urged the gathering to take steps towards cultural development. The following were awarded prizes as mentioned below: Flower Exhibition: 1st prize – Alem (GPS ‘B’ Yachem) 2nd prize – Buchem (GPS ‘B’ Yachem) 3rd prize – Hentoi (GPS ‘A’ Yachem)
