Workshop on Annual Returns & Reconciliation Statement

Dimapur, August 19 (MExN): The Office of the Commissioner, Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Dimapur, Nagaland under the Government of India will be organizing a workshop on filing of ‘Annual Returns and Reconciliation Statement (Form GSTR-9)’ on August 19, August 23 and August 27, at the Office of the Commissioner CGST, 6th floor, Agarwal tower, Circular Road, Dimapur from 2:00 pm. This was informed in a press release issued by G.C. Paul Assistant Commissioner (Tech). “Arrangements have been made at the Seva Kendra Cell to facilitate the taxpayers in filling the returns in all office working days,” it added. 

 

‘My Dream Girl’ release on Aug 24

Kohima, August 19 (MExN): A book entitled “My Dream Girl” by Aduo Solo will be released on August 24 at 4:00 pm at Rivenburg Chapel, Mission Compound, Kohima. This book is the 24th publication of PenThrill Publication House, Kohima. The book will be released by Dr Rosemary Dzivichü, professor & HoD, Department of English, Nagaland University Kohima Campus, Meriema. Book review will be given by Dr Rükulii Kezo Puro, founder & chief instructor CUE Academy, Kohima. Vishü Rita Krocha, publisher PenThrill Publication House will present publisher’s note.

 

Relief  given to fire affected families in Shamator

Tuensang, August 19 (MExN): A total of 33 households were given cash reliefs on August 15 in Shamator following an incident in which their houses were either razed down or partially damaged by fire. The cash relief to the affected families was given by Advisor SCERT, IPR & VGs and also Chairman, DPDB Tuensang Toshi Wungtung at Shamator Headquarter in the presence of Shamator Town Public Forum (STPF) officials, representatives from YTC, YAA, GBs and Ward Leaders of Shamator Town. Cash relief was provided under two categories- Rs. 10000 each to families whose houses were completely razed down and Rs. 5000 each to families whose houses were partially damaged.  STPF President S Toji and General Secretary K Thsantong in a press release expressed gratitude to the Advisor for the “humane and compassionate act".
 

 

Leaders motivational talk in Kohima

Kohima, August 19 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland state unit is organizing Leaders Motivational Talk on “Alliance-Biblical Perspective” on August 21 at Hotel Japfu Kohima at 11:00 am. The resource person will be Apostle Rev. Luoliehu Yimsung, founder “Leader Arise Nagaland” and initiator Overseas Naga Association (ONA). The programme will be chaired by P Kavili Achumi, state general secretary BJP Nagaland while welcome address will be delivered by Subenthung Kithan, vice president BJP Nagaland. Vote of thanks will be proposed by Kevidezo Peter Rutsa, vice president BJP Nagaland.

 

WAYO condemns

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 19 (MExN): The Western Angami Youth Organisation (WAYO) today condemned the murder of one Ennamul Ali, a resident of Seithekema C village, Dimapur, who was found shot dead by unidentified person(s) in Zubza area on August 17. “WAYO is dismayed by the act of murder which has shattered the peaceful atmosphere in Zubza area. WAYO will not tolerate our area to become a killing field nor will it let any villain tarnish the peace loving atmosphere of the area,” a press release from the organisation’s President, Megoruzo Chase. It further urged law enforcing agencies to bring the culprit(s) to book and give befitting punishment as per the law of the land.

 

NStCB Mkg Branch Manager awarded

Mokokchung, August 19 (MExN): In recognition of the dedicated service and outstanding performance rendered towards public service, Government of Nagaland, office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung has awarded Certificate of Commendation to Nchumthung Kikon, Branch Manager, Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd (NStCB) Mokokchung Branch during the 73rd Independence day celebration on August 15. R. Lipoktoba Aier, Managing Director, Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd in a press release stated that recently, the Ministry of Rural Development Government of India has awarded National recognition commendation to NStCB for outstanding performance in SHG Bank Credit linkage during 2018-19.
