National education day

Kohima, November 8 (MExN): National education day organized by Nagaland Education Association (NEA) in collaboration with the Directorate of School Education Nagaland Kohima will be observed on November 11, 11:00 am with Principal Secretary School Education & SCERT Nagaland Menukhol John as special invitee. The event will held at Directorate of School Education, Nagaland Kohima.  

 

Survey & mapping of govt land in Tening

Peren, November 8 (MExN): ADC Tening, Rhosietho Nguori has directed all Heads of Offices located in Tening to clear their respective department’s lands on or before November 20. As per the notification, survey and mapping of Government land is scheduled from November 26 to 28. 

 

DC Longleng directs pet owners 

Longleng, November 8 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Longleng has directed all owners of pet dogs to ensure proper keeping of their pet dogs within their houses with immediate effect. As per DIPR report, in an order, the DC asserted that many dogs were loitering in the town unattended, littering the town. Therefore, for the safety of citizens and cleanliness of Longleng town, dog owners have been directed to keep their dogs confined within their houses before November 15. The ward presidents are further directed to inform the citizens under their respective jurisdiction and strictly comply to the order.

 

AYO Conclave cum Khriekesa Pelikro Day

Kohima, November 8 (MExN): The Angami Youth Organization (AYO) Conclave cum Khriekesa Pelikro Day is scheduled to be held on November 22. AYO in a press release informed the event will be hosted by Rüsoma village under the theme “Chüperheilashü khe” (Resurgence). Youth representing every village of the Angami ancestral land will converge at Rüsoma village to observe the day. Vilelie Khamo, Class-1 Contractor, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
