DDADU informs
Dimapur, January 3 (MExN): Following reports from the general public especially commuters of leaving behind their belongings in the autorickshaw, the Dimapur District Autorickshaw Driver’s Union (DDADU) once again remind the commuters concerned to take note of the vehicle registration number before boarding it. DDADU joint secretary, Renthungo Tsopoe in a press release has also reminded all the autorickshaw drivers to submit, in case any belonging is found in their vehicle to the Union’s head office.
Dimapur DPDB meeting postponed
Dimapur, January 3 (MExN): The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Dimapur district for the month of January 2019 has been postponed to January 7. The venue and timing will remain the same. District Planning Officer and member Secretary Dimapur DPDB has requested the Board members to attend the meeting positively and also to note the change of date.
LSU senior consultative meeting
Dimapur, January 2 (MExN): The Lotha Students' Union (LSU) has scheduled a senior consultative meeting on January 7, 11:00 am at its office building. A press release from President and General Secretary LSU has informed all senior members to attend the meeting positively.
NNC Zeliangrong-Region mourns
Dimapur, January 3 (MExN): NNC Parent Body, Zeliangrong-Region has expressed grief over the demise of Huraipi Kalengta, Lieutenant Colonel and commanding officer 2nd battalion NNC Parent Body, Zeliangrong Region. In a condolence message, NNC Parent Body, Zeliangrong-Region said “Huraipi Kalengta sacrificed his life for nation work and served the nation selflessly till his death. His service will be remembered by the Nagas though he has gone from us.” NCC Parent Body, Zeliangrong-Region conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed that the departed soul rest in peace. The funeral service was held at Jalukie Town today, MIP Cell said.
