NDPP officially registered with ECI

Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has been officially registered with the Election Commission of India (ECI). This was informed in a communiqué from the ECI dated October 20, 2017, stated a press release from NDPP Media & Communications Wing.  

The NDPP assured that it supports early resolution of the ongoing Indo-Naga political negotiations in an honorable manner that is inclusive and acceptable to the people. It appealed to the negotiating parties to expedite the peace talks and bring about an early solution that will pave the way for lasting peace and all round development.  

Further, it assured that the party will work with full commitment to root out corruption and nepotism and leave no stone unturned to usher in transparency, good governance, restoration of the system and genuine development.  

“The NDPP will strive for creation of opportunities for the youth, realization of gender equality and prevalence of meritocracy in the State. We will promote young leaders who are committed towards bringing about positive change in our society and rescue Nagaland from the prevalent conditions of stagnation, lack of development and high levels of corruption and nepotism,” it asserted.  

The party also said its doors are open to all sections of the people who desire to positively impact the society for a better and more rewarding future. “The party will stand for true justice and fight for emergence of truth and we assure the people that the NDPP will be a people’s movement where all citizens, irrespective of any background are equal stakeholders within the NDPP,” the release added.  

The NDPP will soon release a detailed roadmap of consultative meetings, party launching programmes in different regions, general convention, release of party manifesto and vision documents, etc, it was informed.
