NPF candidate for Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) elections from ward no 2, Khekaho Awomi kicked off campaign on Sunday with an assurance to work for the uplift of the ward and the town. Speaking at the programme at Ghorapatty, Khekaho appealed for support of the people from the ward to bring changes in the society. He also sought to work for youth empowerment if he is voted to power. “I will go out of my way to bring changes in the society,” he assured. A host of NPF leaders and elected members also spoke during the programme.
