Pughoboto, August 7 (DIPR): The ADC Pughoboto, who is also the vice chairperson of Sub-Divisional Planning & Development Board (SDPDB), has remarked on the poor attendance of officers in the monthly SDPDB meeting. In the meeting for the month of August, she requested the officers to attend the meeting without fail.
The house also discussed about shortage of Maths and Science teachers in High School in the sub-division. The administrative officers concerned were requested to verify the position of teachers in the High School along with the SDEO and submit a report for further action.
A review of LADP activities was done and the Vice Chairperson thanked all departmental officers for actively and enthusiastically participating in LADP activities like ‘Clean Village Verification’, Eco Network (Bicycle network) and Tree Plantation. In this regard, the Vice Chairperson on behalf of the board thanked the Forest Range Officer, Kihoto Wotsa and the Forest Department for generously contributing tree saplings for the tree plantation drive in the year 2016 and 2017. The Vice Chairperson also informed all the board members to inform all their staff to attend the Independence Day function positively where attendance will be taken.
