The ANATU president Neizivotuo Nakhro in a press note stated that teachers who were recruited on Adhoc basis to meet the need of the department have been serving the same with sincerity and dedication for more than 8 years have been “made to suffer all kinds of inhuman and injustice. Besides others, the disparity of salary between the regularised teachers and Adhoc teachers is injustice.” The Union said that the Adhoc teacher draws a monthly salary of half or less than that of regularised teachers and Adhoc teacher. ANATU further alleged that “harassment through documents verification, physical verification by SIT and so on but when it comes to teachers’ welfare the concern department remain silent and turn deaf ear to the teacher’s cry.” Hence, the ANATU appeals to the concern authority to do the needful by declaring the suitability test result and issue regularization order before any other interview or exam result is declared.
