Wokha DYC condemns

Dimapur, June 25 (MExN):
The District Youth Congress has out rightly rejected the statement which appeared on June 22 regarding one Zubemo Ngullie of Yanthamo village resigning from Congress and joining 37 A/c NPF party is neither active memberor secretary of DYC.“..the DYC Wokha has no knowledge and record of his contribution towards the Congress party by such new and designation in the present DYC Wokha office bearers,” a press note issued by the president of DYC Mhondamo Shitiri.So the DYC Wokha has appealed to the party workers and public leaders not to mislead by such malicious and false declaration.

Directorate of labour informs

Kohima, June 25 (MExN):
The Directorate of Labour came to notice that many trade unions registered by the department under the Trade Union’s Act, 1926, are not complying to the provision prescribed under the Act. In this connection, the registrar of Trade Union is reviewing the working of the Trade Union’s registered under labour department till such time, such review exercise is completed, and registration of new Trade Union is suspended temporarily. This notification will remain in force for all the districts in Nagaland till further order. This was stated in a notification issued by Er. L. Nungshiyanger Aier, joint labour commissioner (HoD) & registration of trade union.

DPDB Peren meeting on June 29

Members of District Planning and Development Board, Peren are informed that the DPDB meeting for the month of June 2011 will be held on June 29 (Wednesday) at 11:00 am at DC’s Conference Hall, Peren Town. All the concerned members are informed to make it convenient to attend the meeting.

JTTU expresses regret

Dimapur, June 25 (MExN):
Jalukie Town Traders Union (JTTU) has express regret over the ruined government office buildings and poor attendance of staffs in Jalukie which is a matter of serious concern. The union called upon one and all to sincerely strive for excellence in respective field. Meanwhile, JTTU Vice President Ipeigwangbe Zeliang and General Secretary Tingyiheing in a press release have thanked Iherie Ndang, S.P Peren for his concern in the safety and security of the public by deputing IRB personnel to control anti-social activities in Jalukie town. The presence of IRB personnel monitoring the town has brought a tranquil environment and the business community is indebted to him.
