Dimapur, August 8 (MExN): The Thsotokur Arihako Dimapur celebrated Medümneo festival on August 8 at its treasurer’s residence at Kuda village ‘B’ Khel, Dimapur.
Kejong Chang, Minister for Horticulture and DB&GB, who was the chief guest, encouraged the young people not to forget but treasure the culture inherited from the ancestors and continue to celebrate it for peace and prosperity.
Earlier, the significance of the festival was illustrated by M. Zungkum. Folk songs enthralled the young and the old in the festival.
